FAQ

A delivery notification is a formal process of informing about a planned arrival or delivery of goods. It involves providing information about the expected delivery time to the recipient or loading location. A delivery notification contains key data, such as

  • expected delivery date and time
  • shipment number
  • type of goods
  • transport details (e.g. vehicle number, driver data)

It allows the recipient to prepare for the receipt of goods, such as organizing warehouse space, planning appropriate unloading equipment, or informing staff. This is a crucial element in the logistics process, especially in sectors requiring precise organization.

Before customs clearance, it’s important to ensure all necessary documents are complete and correctly filled in. Here’s a list of key documents that are usually required:

  • Bill of Lading (B/L) – a document confirming the conclusion of the transport contract and terms of transport.
  • Commercial Invoice – includes information on the value of the goods, transaction details, and seller/buyer data.
  • Copy of ID card
  • Power of Attorney – Download PDF

Anonymizing an ID is especially important due to the personal data it contains, which could be used to identify a person. When anonymizing an ID card, attention must be paid to key elements.

The following data must remain visible

  • first name
  • last name
  • PESEL number
  • document name, series and number
  • document expiration date
  • bottom part of the reverse side (MRZ zone)
